Trending now: Armored Van Spills $2M in Cash on Hong Kong Highway

It was nearly an early Christmas gift for the spectators along the highway of Gloucester Road in Hong Kong when bags of cash suddenly fell out of an armored car last Wednesday.
The paper bills which are actually bank notes that are being transported from Hong Kong Island to Kowloon made some by-passers stop as well as cab drivers to fetch some of the notes in front of them after being blown away by the wind.
According to the reports, more than HK$15.23 million or USD1.96 million worth of bank notes tipped out from the moving vehicle.
It was only later on when the driver of the van finally realized that three out of thirty boxes of cash were missing from the back part of the car after recognizing that the back door was open. Here are the videos uploaded in youtube by bystanders and CNN.
